Jake Schied is an active 2 year old, the youngest of four. He lives on the south side of Chicago with his parents Chris and Mary Beth (nee Foxgrover) and older brothers Matthew and Bryan, and sister Stefanie. On September 5, 2007 Jake was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma, a very rare form of cancer, affecting both of his eyes.
